I’m Roger.
Here to help you produce content that focuses on your core business objectives and brand message.
Let’s go ahead and state the obvious
(Because your time and business growth are what matters, right?)
Buyers today do their due diligence — whether they get a referral, see your trucks or find you online. And what they discover in this process will affect their decision.
If you're in the business of helping homeowners with their outdoor living projects, then working with someone who really gets what you're about will make your marketing life so much easier. Why?
Because there's a lot going on within the industry and the work you produce. It's complex. How do you get that all across in easy to understand, SEO-friendly content that builds your authority and sales?
With a background in landscape design, construction and project management, I'm tuned into the industry and know what works for your prospects and customers.
I'll help you get clear on your objectives & messaging, so your content communicates the great work you do. After all, every piece of content in your marketing should have purpose.
I write so your content works for you continuously — often called "evergreen content".
I'm a business owner too, so I completely understand controlling costs and stress. Content projects can be tailored to your budget and needs.
And just like I operated my design/build business, you'll get my undivided attention until the job is done.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Roger as a designer/contractor and project manager. The experience has always been nothing short of professional and always with a level of comfort and assurance the project will go well.”
— Brian Brisby, Owner, Stone House Nursery
When I'm not researching keywords or creating content, I like to visit fellow tradespeople, suppliers and past client projects. These relationships and friendships mean a lot to me.
I didn't have writing in my career plans. It evolved naturally over the years in the landscape industry. I just love the trade and enjoy teaching what I know. Writing lets me do that. I believe effective writing has played a big part in my success selling landscape projects.
Photographing and documenting my work has always been part of my business process. So around 2007 I began blogging about my projects. It became a great reference to send both prospects and customers to.
The help this content gave me showcasing my work and answering people's questions was so important because I had limited time for sales as an owner-operator. My focus was always on operations.
So began my interest — more of an obsession — in persuasive writing (copywriting) and content marketing.
Inspired to move away from the rigors of the contracting business, I realized I could use my industry experience & writing to help other outdoor living businesses like yours show & tell their story.
I'm here to help.
